“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” This verse really defines my entire life. My name is Deddy Indrawan, usually called Deddy, and this is my wife, Tri Wardhani, usually called Dhani.

We are the owner of Jaxine Bedlinen & Bedcover. Since I graduated from Sanata Dharma Yogyakarta University, I have worked in several places. However, we had to do some changes because of our financial condition. It was hard to support our children who were still in such young ages.

So one day, we finally decided to do something in order to make extra money. There was a friend of mine who suggested that I should start my own online business.

At first I was hesitating, but my friend convinced me. He said that I didn’t have to be afraid. Starting online business would not be as difficult as I thought. But then, I was thinking about what product that we should sell. I went to bed and suddenly realized that people would certainly use bedlinens and bedcovers.

I tried many ways to make customers visit and buy from my online store. I also learned about SEO, but after a while, I felt very saturated. It was really tiring because I have to work and maintain the SEO of my online store every single day. One day, I suddenly remembered about Tokopedia. I immediately registered and turned out that I don’t have to think about maintaining SEO anymore.

I only had to open my online store, and it is Tokopedia who find the prospecting buyers for me. Registering to Tokopedia is very easy. On top of that, we will receive a notification when an order comes in. The delivery is also become so much easier because Tokopedia is partnered with numbers of logistics in Indonesia including JNE, Tiki, Wahana.

I am also focusing on how I can improve the quality of my product. We pay attention to every detail and make some necessary changes. Because customers will know a great product from its quality. We all thought that online business allow us to be laid back.

It is not entirely wrong, but if we want to be succeed, we also have to work hard. We must be discipline, be diligent, and have a strong determination to achieve what we want in life. We are very grateful that our generation have the chance to change our lives through the internet.

I can reach a wide market range; Java, Sumatera, Kalimantan, and all cities in Indonesia. I can even reach overseas market. It’s okay if you want to use internet for fun.

But if we can make our own income from internet, why not? If we can do something useful, things that are able to change our lives, let’s do it for the better..
